DMCA Policy
Effective Date: October 3, 2025
At Rumorpro.com, we’re all about sparking inspiration with fresh insights on business, tech, fashion, lifestyle, education, finance, sports, health, and entertainment. But we take intellectual property seriously—your creativity deserves respect, and so does ours. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy outlines how we handle copyright infringement claims on our site (rumorpro.com). We comply with the DMCA to foster a fair, vibrant community where content thrives legally and ethically.
If you believe your work has been infringed, we’re here to resolve it swiftly. Questions? Reach out to our DMCA Agent below.
1. Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance
Rumorpro respects the rights of copyright holders and expects our users to do the same. We don’t host pirated or unauthorized content, and we promptly address valid infringement notices. By using our site, you agree not to upload, share, or distribute material that violates copyrights.
We may remove or disable access to infringing content and, in appropriate cases, terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
2. Designated DMCA Agent
We’ve appointed a DMCA Agent to receive infringement notices. All reports must be sent to:
DMCA Agent Rumorpro. Email: editorial@rcopa.com
For faster processing, include “DMCA Notice” in the subject line.
3. How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you’re a copyright owner (or their authorized agent) and believe content on Rumorpro infringes your rights, submit a written notice with the following details (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- Identification of the Infringed Work: Clearly describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., “My article titled ‘Tech Trends 2025’ published on my site”).
- Identification of Infringing Material: Specify the exact URL(s) or location on rumorpro.com where the infringing content appears.
- Contact Info: Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Statement of Good Faith: A sworn statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
- Optional: Any additional evidence supporting your claim.
Email your complete notice to editorial@rcopa.com. We’ll review it promptly—typically within 48 hours—and take action if it meets DMCA requirements. False claims may expose you to liability, so please be thorough and accurate.
4. Counter-Notices
If you believe your content was removed by mistake (e.g., fair use or authorization), you can file a counter-notice. Include:
- Your Identification: Name, address, phone, email, and a statement you’re the affected user or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Content Description: The original material removed, including its location before removal.
- Good Faith Statement: Under penalty of perjury, affirm the removal was a mistake and you’ll consent to jurisdiction in a U.S. federal court (or your local equivalent if outside the U.S.).
- Consent to Service: Agreement to accept service of process from the claimant.
- Signature: Physical or electronic.
Send to our DMCA Agent at editorial@rcopa.com. We’ll forward it to the claimant and may restore your content after 10-14 business days unless they seek a court order.
5. Repeat Infringers
We track infringement notices and may suspend or terminate access for users who repeatedly violate copyrights. Factors include the frequency and severity of violations. Our goal? A clean, creative space for all.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
Rumorpro features user-generated content, embeds, and links to external sites. We’re not liable for third-party infringements, but we’ll cooperate with valid claims. Always review others’ policies when venturing off-site.
7. International Users
This policy applies U.S. DMCA standards, but we respect global copyright laws. If you’re outside the U.S., contact us—we’ll work with you under applicable rules.
8. Changes to This Policy
As we grow, this policy might evolve. We’ll post updates here and notify you via email or site notice for significant changes. Keep checking back.
